2026 Wildfire Assistance
Many of our members and employees have been impacted by the recent wildfires. As your financial partner, we’re always by your side—especially when disaster strikes.
We’re here to help.
If you’ve been affected by the recent wildfires and have experienced any of the following:
- Fire damage to your home or property
- The loss of everyday necessities, such as hygiene products, food or clothing
- Evacuation-related expenses, including hotel accommodations, rental cars, animal boarding or transportation costs

Horizon Helps Emergency Loan
Members impacted by the wildfires may qualify for a Horizon Helps Emergency Loan with:
- Up to $7,500
- 1.99% APR
- Terms up to 60 months
This program is designed to help cover emergency expenses and recovery costs as you get back on your feet.
Payment relief for existing loans
If you have a collateralized loan or line of credit with Horizon, you may be eligible for a payment deferral to provide temporary financial relief. Call us at 800.852.5316 or visit your local branch to review your loan and options available to you.
Mortgage assistance
Members with a Horizon mortgage can contact our third-party servicer, Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (DMI), to discuss Natural Disaster Forbearance, which may provide up to three months of mortgage payment relief. Contact DMI directly at 866.397.5370 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. PDT for support.
For additional financial relief options, the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions has provided resources for those impacted.

Horizon Helps loan disclosure
Must have been a Horizon member for at least 30 days and in good standing. Max loan amount $7,500. 90 days to first due date, max loan term 60 months. 1.99% APR interest rate regardless of credit score. One loan per member. Income verification may be required. Documentation of your hardship may also be required.
