Get Your Temporary PasswordNew Members: This was emailed to the address on your account within 2 hours of opening your account. Be sure to log in right away – your temporary credentials are valid for 72 hours only.

Existing Members: Please call us at 800.852.5316 and we’ll set you up with a temporary password.
Head to the WebsiteVisit hzcu.org and click the Online Banking Login button in the top right of the page.
Enter Your Temporary Username & PasswordEnter your temporary username (your member number) and the password provided to you.
Verify Your InformationVerify your identity, then set up your personal username and password – this will now be your login info going forward.

How do I register for online banking?

Registering for online banking is simple!

  • Click the online banking login dropdown in the righthand corner of our website
  • Username: Enter your member number
  • Password: Enter the 6-digit PIN we sent you via email
  • After logging in, you’ll verify your identity and set up your own username and new password

How do I receive my temporary password for online banking?

You’ll receive your temporary password within 2 hours of becoming a member or opening a new membership with a different member number. It will be sent to the email you provided in-branch, at a dealership or within your online application.

The email contains a 6-digit randomized PIN that you will use as your password upon your initial login into online banking.*

*Note: This password is good for 72 hours from receiving your welcome email. If you don’t sign into online banking within the 72-hour timeframe contact us at 800.852.5316 and one of our team members will assign you a new one.

I have multiple member numbers and accounts at Horizon Credit Union, but when I log into online banking it only shows me one of my accounts. Why is that?

Our accounts are set up per membership. This means that each member number has a separate login (username and password) for online banking. To connect accounts first log in to online or mobile banking then select Add External Accounts, then Add An Account. Search for Horizon then enter the username and password of the account you want to link. After verifying your identity via phone or text, your accounts will be linked!

I have multiple member numbers and accounts at Horizon Credit Union. Is there a way to see all my memberships and accounts under a single login?

Yes! You can easily add your accounts under your main membership.

  • In online banking, select Add External Accounts or click on the Money Management tab.
    For mobile, click Add External Accounts or select the More option and click Money Management.
  • Select Add An Account and search for Horizon Credit Union. Enter the username and password of the additional account you want to link to your primary account. You will be asked to verify your identity via phone or text.

That’s it! Your account will then populate within Money Management and on the main accounts screen below your accounts on your main membership.

Why is there only one login per membership? Why can’t a joint owner have their own login?

At this time Horizon Credit Union is set up for only the primary member’s personal information. If the joint owner on an account has a primary membership of their own, they can link their account through the Add External Accounts function.

How do I change my username and password for online banking?

Changing your username and password within online banking is quick and easy. Log into online banking or our mobile app and click on My Settings, then go to Login & Security.

What is the difference between online banking and the Horizon informational website?

Online banking is where you log in to manage your accounts, view account information, transfer money, etc. The Horizon informational website is where you can find information on the products and services we offer.

Why can’t I see all my multiple memberships and accounts through my Horizon Credit Union mobile application when I use facial recognition or fingerprint?

Horizon Credit Union currently utilizes membership-based accounts. This means that each member number has a separate login (username and password) in online banking. Whichever membership you recently logged into and set up biometric features for will be set for that membership.
