Youth Month Video Series: Saving Money

April is National Credit Union Youth Month! At Horizon, we believe there’s no better time to help your kids develop healthy money habits than right now. According to CNBC, studies show that financially literate students are more likely to make smart decisions when paying for college, less likely to rely on private loans and have better average credit scores as young adults. Set your child up for success; start teaching them about money today.

It’s a Money Thing

To help you teach your kids about money this month, we’re sharing a weekly video from our animated educational series, It’s a Money Thing. This week’s video is called Saving Money. It’s geared towards younger kids. (To watch last week’s video, click here!)

If you like this video, check out the It’s a Money Thing website for dozens more like it. All the content is free and safe for kids.
